BETH HOFMANN-DAVIES

Thank you for taking a look at my art! I am excited to be working with RoRo Artworks!

I mainly learned art from my mother. I've also taken a few classes at my local junior colleges. We lived way out in the country and didn't have a TV growing up, so my sister and I learned to entertain ourselves with our imaginations, books, art, music and playing outside.

One of my favorite things is still to quietly watch nature and notice the beautiful ancient movement and patterns and magic one can find there and then use it as inspiration for my art!

I’ve taken a few art classes at my local junior colleges and still do when life, finances and health allow.

I also worked in Montessori preschools and as a nanny for many years, and loved teaching and doing arts and crafts with the children. Remembering to see life and all the things in it through kids eyes has always informed my art.

I use my art as therapy and to illustrate my visions and dreams. Some of my pieces are simply very complicated doodles that I never gave up on! Some are my attempt to capture a feeling or spiritual concept.

I would love to illustrate children’s books in the future and hope that my art brings joy, understanding and humor into peoples lives.
